BOLOGNA, Italy Autopromotec, the most specialised international exhibition for automotive equipment and aftermarket products (May 22-26, 2013, Bologna Trade Fair Centre, Italy), has announced the creation of the “Diagnostic Hub,” a new exhibition space being launched at the 2013 show that is set to be the largest ever dedicated to the sector.
Autopromotec’s organizers have announced that two pavilions will be opened (numbers 14 and 15) covering a surface area of nearly more than 200,000 square feet dedicated to diagnostic equipment for the automotive industry. The initiative responds to the growing interest that Autopromotec has received from diagnostic instrument manufacturers both in Italy and around the world.
Existing Autopromotec exhibitors have also expressed a wish to increase the size of their stands because of the growing interest in the show and in the diagnostics field.
The creation of the Diagnostic Hub is more than a change of location and expansion of the diagnostics exhibition space, which was previously located in the smaller No. 30 pavilion. It is also a sign of the intention to make Autopromotec stand out by developing a whole series of dedicated initiatives around this type of equipment, centered on providing essential training and information.
The new Diagnostic Hub means that visitors to Autopromotec 2013 will now have the opportunity to visit a full-blown exhibition of diagnostic instruments, where they can examine the issues related to car electronics and emerging legislation in greater depth. It will provide an essential meeting place between suppliers and aftermarket operators.
