AutoPartsSource Announces Executive Appointments

Undercar parts manufacturer AutoPartSource (APS) has appointed George Greene, AAP, to the post of vice president of sales and marketing. A 20 year veteran of the aftermarket, Greene will be responsible for all sales activity including traditional and group sales, and the overall management of the direct and rep agency sales force. In related news, Lenny Chapman has moved to the role of director of sales and marketing administration. Chris Kern has been appointed vice president and general manager.

RICHMOND, VA — Undercar parts manufacturer AutoPartSource (APS) has appointed George Greene, AAP, to the post of vice president of sales and marketing.

A 20 year veteran of the aftermarket, Greene will be responsible for all sales activity including traditional and group sales, and the overall management of the direct and rep agency sales force.

Most recently, Greene served as director of distributor sales for ArvinMeritor. Prior to that he was the vice president of sales with Mid-State Automotive in Nashville, Tenn., and national sales manager at Tenneco Automotive.

In related news, Lenny Chapman has moved to the role of director of sales and marketing administration. In this new position, he and his staff of customer satisfaction and marketing specialists are responsible for all sales and service support activities.

Chris Kern has been appointed vice president and general manager. Kern, a 30-plus year veteran of the automotive aftermarket, has been running APS since Frank Pagano purchased the company in April 2004.

Headquartered in Richmond, Va., APS supplies filters, brakes, clutches, drums/rotors and related products to warehouse distributors in the automotive aftermarket.
