The Automotive Parts and Service Association of Illinois (APSA of Illinois) has awarded two scholarships for the 2016-’17 academic year. Adam Wolfe of Carbondale, Illinois, received a $500 scholarship, and Declan Wold of Elsah, Illinois, received a $250 scholarship.
“We’re pleased to assist these two outstanding students from Illinois as they pursue their education,” said Marsha Fogleman, APSA of Illinois executive vice president. “Our annual scholarships are an investment in the future of the automotive aftermarket.”
“The recipients selected by APSA of Illinois are representative of the candidates who applied through our online application site this year,” said Pete Kornafel, chairman of the GAAS Scholarship Selection Committee. “Through the support of APSA and other regional associations, and the support of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation, we are able to assist these students in their pursuit of automotive aftermarket careers.”
