DALLAS, TEXAS — The Automotive Oil Change Association (AOCA) has announced its official endorsement of the Car Care Council’s “Be Car Care Aware” consumer education campaign. The Dallas-based Automotive Oil Change Association is a non-profit trade organization representing the convenient automotive maintenance industry.

According to Steve Christie, AOCA executive director, supporting the campaign was a logical decision.

“Supporting the Car Care Council’s ‘Be Car Care Aware’ program was a logical decision since both of our organizations are dedicated to raising consumer awareness about preventative vehicle care,” said Christie. “We are proud to endorse the great work of the Car Care Council and are thrilled with the opportunity to show our support for this highly successful endeavor. We are taking steps to educate all of our quick lube members on ways that they can get involved and show their support for the campaign. For example, we will work with our members to hold Vehicle Check Up events during National Car Care Month each April.”

The “Be Car Care Aware” campaign offers marketing and public awareness initiatives to help build awareness and knowledge to prepare consumers to make sensible decisions about their vehicles. The Car Care Council serves as the brand and information source for the campaign.
