MINNEAPOLIS — Automotive Cooling Products (ACP), specialty distributor of heating and cooling products for the automotive, light truck, heavy duty truck, agricultural and industrial industries, has acquired both Rock Island, Ill.-based Quad Cities Distributing and Discount Radiator Warehouse in Overland Park, Kan.

These current acquisitions are part of ACP’s goals for growth and leadership within the automotive, light truck, heavy duty truck, agricultural and industrial industries. The two new acquisitions increase ACP’s locations to six. ACP now covers the entire Upper Midwest through the Plains states with same day and next day service.

Quad Cities Distributing and Discount Radiator Warehouse have been serving the Quad Cities and Kansas City regions for a number of years with heat transfer products. Due to the similarities between the product lines and customer bases ACP said it expects the acquisitions to be seamless.

Three years ago ACP joined a consortium of WDs located across the U.S. to form RADPRO. RADPRO is a network of like warehouse distributors that specialize in the distribution of heat transfer products to the automotive, heavy duty truck and agricultural industries. By joining RADPRO, ACP said it has been able to increase market share by utilizing the collective marketing and advertising programs provided through the RADPRO group. The majority of ACP’s product lines are now private labeled with the RADPRO name and logo
