The session will present ideas on defining what project management is and why it’s important, how to get better results in projects, and tools and methods designed to give marketers an edge in shaping outcomes.

The Automotive Communications Council (ACC) will produce a free webinar on April 27 at 3 p.m. EST, focused on project management for marketers. The session will present ideas on defining what project management is and why it’s important, how to get better results in projects and tools and methods designed to give marketers an edge in shaping outcomes.

The webinar will be led by Jeff Thaler and Bill Hewson of Hewson Group. Thaler has more than 15 years of experience leading B2B and B2C digital marketing teams in the automotive, financial and pharmaceutical industries. Hewson, principal operator of Hewson Group, is a marketing strategist and agency leader with more than 20 years of experience in digital and interactive marketing. Hewson Group is a digital marketing solutions company, focused on developing big business expertise solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. Attendees can expect to learn best practices on implementing project management, and what impact it can have on the day-to-day functions of a marketer.

“Jeff and Bill are experts in their field and offer a practical way to manage tasks, ensuring the most efficient and effective outcome to marketing and management challenges,” said Tamra Ayers Banz, chair of the ACC’s membership track. “Thinking of project management as a formal discipline, and gaining insight into tools and methods I use in my every day has been a powerful tool in my success as a marketer.”

Attendees of the 1-hour webinar will earn 0.1 CEU credits toward the AAP/MAAP professional designation from the University of the Aftermarket. The webinar is open to anyone with involvement in the automotive industry. ACC membership is not required.
