The Automotive Communications Council (ACC) will produce a free webinar at 2 p.m. EST on Aug. 17, focused on critical topics related to tradeshow exhibiting strategy. The session, called “Trends Driving the Future of the Exhibitor Experience,” will present broad trends that are impacting face-to-face marketing and how these trends can be integrated into an exhibit program.

The webinar will be led by Matt Tumulty, business development director at FreemanXP. Tumulty has more than 20 years of industry experience, spanning event strategy, creative development, exhibit strategy and management and production. He leads the team tasked with the branding and marketing of AAPEX and has been instrumental in driving more attendee engagement and impact.

“Attracting convention attendees to your booth space can be a challenge,” said Sara Longardner, chair of the ACC’s communications track. “Your audience is looking for a great experience – the kind that is engaging, meaningful, and above all else, personal. You get one chance to make a first impression; otherwise, you risk losing your potential customers to another exhibitor with a display space that’s bigger, better, cooler and more engaging.”

Attendees of the one-hour webinar will earn attendees 0.1 CEU credits toward the AAP/MAAP professional designation from the University of the Aftermarket. The webinar is open to anyone with involvement in the automotive industry. ACC membership is not required.

This online event is the third to date since the ACC relaunched its educational webinar series in December 2015. The ACC webinar series is designed to deliver content geared toward helping auto care industry marketing communications professionals further their professional development.
