The Collision Industry Relief Effort is offering assistance, employment and housing across the country to many of the more than 10,000 affected families from the industry in the Gulf Region.

CIF spokesman Stephen Regain stated that individuals employed in the collision repair industry who were affected by Hurricane Katrina and are interested in temporary or permanent employment and/or housing, in any area of the country, or any type of assistance, should call (toll free) 888-66-PRIDE or visit

“The collision repair industry often refers to itself as one big family,” said Regan, “and when your family is in trouble, you help them out.”

In addition to the NABC and CIF, the Society of Collision Repair Specialist (SCRS), Automotive Service Association (ASA) and the Association of Automotive Service Providers (AASP) are assisting in this effort.

The Collision Industry Foundation is an IRS approved 501c (3). All donations for the Collision Industry Relief Effort are tax deductible.
