Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation To Host 29th-Annual Golf Outing During Industry Week

The event will take place at the stunning Spanish Trail Country Club on Monday, Nov. 4  with a "shotgun" start at 8:30 a.m. All proceeds help fund the Foundation's work as the industry’s only charitable organization dedicated to helping aftermarket industry professionals at their most critical time of need.

Once again this year the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation will be hosting its Annual, All-Industry Golf Outing  to kick-off Industry Week in Las Vegas just prior to the start of the AAPEX/SEMA shows. The event will take place at the stunning Spanish Trail Country Club on Monday, Nov. 4  with a “shotgun” start at 8:30 a.m. All proceeds help fund the Foundation’s work as the industry’s only charitable organization dedicated to helping aftermarket industry professionals at their most critical time of need.

Board President Lynn Parker said, “This amazing charity event is what it is today because of the unselfish people of our industry. People like Andy Dudash, who is chairman of our ‘volunteer’ Golf Committee and leads the volunteer team of Jeff Helfrich, Larry Magee, Rich Scovner, Mike Wilcox and Shane Willis. It is the Foundation’s single-largest event of the year. The tournament’s success is because of our supportive board of directors and generous sponsors supporting this event and our foundation for many years; some companies have sponsored since 1959 – for 60 years! These companies truly know the meaning of giving back to our industry, an industry that has given us so much.”

Committee Chairman Andy Dudash added, “The entire committee donates their time and efforts to run this event. The tournament ranks as one, if not the best, and raises over $500,000 and growing. All [of it] is done in order to help those in our industry who have experienced a catastrophic life event and have nowhere else to turn for help. This would not be possible without our sponsors, many longtime and representing the best in our industry; leaders that are setting an example by donating selflessly, their time and money, paying back to an industry that has been good to all of us.”

In addition to the golf tournament, the event also includes a Continental breakfast and award luncheon just prior to and after the golf outing. There’s also a pre-event reception, held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Sunday evening Nov. 3, also at the Spanish Trail Country Club. The golf outing and all event sponsorship opportunities are open to all industry participants. If you do not golf, please still consider becoming an event sponsor.
