Auto Care Association Opens 2020 Awards

The 2020 Auto Care Association awards focus on education, innovation and the next generation.

While unforeseen circumstances have adjusted the current way of business across the United States, the auto care industry is rising to the challenge. Recently, the Auto Care Association announced the opening of its 2020 awards focusing on education, innovation and the next generation: the “Impact Award: Four for the Future,” Auto Care Career and Education (ACE) Award and Mort Schwartz Excellence in Education Award.

The three awards are given each year to individuals and companies demonstrating excellence in the auto care industry through leadership in these areas. Now more than ever it is imperative to celebrate industry achievements. All Auto Care Association member companies and employees are eligible to participate.

Impact Award: Four for the Future

The Impact Award recognizes four aftermarket professionals aged 40 or younger who have made outstanding contributions to the auto care industry. The award provides businesses within the auto care industry the opportunity to highlight the success of individuals in their roles who demonstrate hard work, dedication, professionalism and exceptional abilities. The online nomination form is located here.

Auto Care Career and Education (ACE) Award

The ACE Award recognizes auto care companies dedicated to excellence in education. In acknowledgement of our industry’s ability to adapt and innovate with changing environments, the ACE Award has been expanded to recognize industry companies dedicated to the growth and knowledge of skills within their organization and/or throughout the industry. Award winners will be selected by the Auto Care Association Education Committee. The online application form is located here.

Mort Schwartz Excellence in Education Award

The Mort Schwartz Award recognizes an individual who best advances the concepts and programs for education or continuing education in the North American auto care industry. Nominations should be submitted for the individual’s innovation, advancement or outstanding efforts in education and training programs, or scholarship fundraising efforts. Award winners will be selected by the Auto Care Association Education Committee.  The online nomination form is located here.

“Receiving this award is one of my proudest accomplishments so far — aside from being able to give back to an industry that has provided so much for my family and me,” said 2019 Impact Award winner Ethan Bregger, national strategic account manager, DRiV, Inc.

The deadline to submit nominations for these awards is July 10.
