Auto Care Needs Sustainability Committee Members

The committee will support Auto Care members by encouraging industry best practices in a quest to become more environmentally friendly.

The Auto Care Association is forming a new advisory committee that focuses on environmental sustainability in the automotive aftermarket. The new sustainability committee aims to increase awareness of the importance of sustainability, while supporting Auto Care members by encouraging industry best practices in a quest to become more environmentally friendly.

The Auto Care Association says it is looking for members who are involved in a sustainability function, are interested in getting more engaged and playing a more active role in the Auto Care Association and are passionate about the ecological integrity of the industry’s activities. The founding team of the new Auto Care sustainability committee will influence the direction and priorities on the most relevant topics for our industry as it relates to the environmental aspects of sustainability. Applications are being accepted for a 32-month term commencing May 1, 2023.

The committee typically meets two times per year in conjunction with Auto Care Association Leadership Days (spring and fall), to provide direction and develop plans for the industry and the association. Additional virtual meetings can be expected throughout the year.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, March 16, 2023, and applicants will be notified of their status in late March.
