Auto Care Asks Florida to Amend Right to Repair Bills

The association has requested that HB 533 and SB 422 (both agricultural fair repair bills) be amended to include the automotive aftermarket.

In its continued battle to ensure the future of the aftermarket industry and vehicle owner choice, this week, the Auto Care Association requested amendments to several bills in the state of Florida.

The Auto Care Association supports the principle of right to repair in all industries and has requested that HB 533 and SB 422 (both agricultural fair repair bills) be amended to include the automotive aftermarket.

In Florida, the automotive aftermarket creates nearly 135,314 jobs and generates $20.7 billion in economic output, the association shared in its Auto Care Insider newsletter.
