ASA Tire Systems to Sell TireMaster Software for Bandag’s QDS Subsidiary

Bandag Inc. has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with ASA Tire Systems to sell TireMaster software for tire and auto service dealerships. TireMaster products are designed, developed and supported by Quality Design Systems, Inc. (QDS), a subsidiary of Bandag. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

MUSCATINE, IOWA — Bandag Inc. has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with ASA Tire Systems to sell TireMaster software for tire and auto service dealerships. TireMaster products are designed, developed and supported by Quality Design Systems, Inc. (QDS), a subsidiary of Bandag. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The new licensing agreement will enable both companies to leverage their strengths in the marketplace. According to ASA, the TireMaster product fills a need for an entry-level product that smaller businesses often request. QDS gains additional market representation for their products from the established sales and marketing presence and brand strength offered by ASA.

“We are thrilled to enter into this agreement with QDS,” said Wayne Croswell, president, ASA Tire Systems. “The TireMaster product will provide ASA with the opportunity to penetrate the lower end of the tire dealer market. In addition, some of the TireMaster features will provide benefits to our customers in both the retail and commercial tire markets. Bandag has worked extremely hard to build relationships with POS vendors in order to provide an unbiased product offering to our mutual customers. This is a win-win-win for Bandag/QDS, ASA and the customer. ”
