ArvinMeritor Opens Warehouse/Distribution Center in Mexico

ArvinMeritor opened its new warehouse and distribution center in Monterrey, Mexico, earlier this week. The facility will serve customers of its Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket (CVA) business and is double the capacity of the company's previous warehouse in Escobedo, Mexico.

MONTERREY, Mexico — ArvinMeritor opened its new warehouse and distribution center in Monterrey, Mexico, earlier this week.

The facility will serve customers of its Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket (CVA) business and is double the capacity of the company’s previous warehouse in Escobedo, Mexico.

The 30,515-square-foot warehouse includes a 2,690-square-foot office area. The company said the facility will use “the latest inventory and material-handling equipment in both its shipping and receiving areas for improved customer service.”

“We’re committed to the continued growth of our commercial vehicle aftermarket business in North America and are investing in its expansion with the opening of this new, strategically located distribution center in Monterrey,” said Joe Mejaly, CVA vice president and general manager. “It’s good news for our customers and our business, plus it symbolizes our confidence in the health and growth of this important market for the long term.”
