RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. The Automotive Parts and Service Association of Illinois (APSA of Illinois) has awarded two scholarships for the 2014-’15 academic year. Jesse Brian of Olney, Ill., received a $500 Scholarship and Umair Shah of Wheaton, Ill., received a $300 Scholarship.
“The recipients selected by APSA of Illinois are representative of the candidates who applied through our online application site this year,” said Pete Kornafel, chairman of the GAAS Scholarship Selection Committee. “Through the support of APSA and other regional associations, and the generous donations to the GAAS scholarship fund, we are able to assist these students in their pursuit of automotive aftermarket careers.”
