CHANTILLY, Va. Remanufacturing plays a very important part in the Chinese government’s five-year plan for sustainable development. The upcoming Automechanika Shanghai, taking place Dec. 10-13 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, will have a Remanufacturing Pavilion and a new Energy Zone that will focus on these two areas that play a significant role in environmental benefits and energy savings. The Remanufacturing Pavilion at Automechanika Shanghai is being endorsed by the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA).
Bill Gager, president of APRA, stated, “The worldwide remanufacturing industry is growing rapidly. We welcome all remanufacturers and suppliers to exhibit in the Reman Pavilion to network together and address this emerging market in China and other parts of Asia. Opportunities for export abound in China, and Shanghai’s Automechanika is a great place to start making those business connections.”
As the most efficient and effective way to save natural resources, the remanufacturing industry stands ready to be a driving force in sustainable development as well as a major job creator because of the very labor intensive nature of this industry, according to the association. This winning combination puts the remanufacturing industry in a very good position to contribute to a better environment and to provide numerous other benefits to society, APRA says.
APRA welcomes participation in the Remanufacturing Pavilion at the Shanghai Automechanika. Companies interested in exhibiting in the Remanufacturing Pavilion can contact Bridget Ferris at [email protected] or Mike Kwan at [email protected].
