CHANTILLY, Va. The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) will hold its annual Electrical Clinic on April 24-25, 2009 at the Holiday Inn East at the Airport in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The clinic will include tours of four plants on April 24. The group will tour Litens Automotive Group, a manufacturer of clutch and decoupler pulleys. Dixie Electric, which remanufacturers light and heavy duty alternators, generators and starters, as well as some new units will also be on the tour. Canadian Starter Drive, a leading North American remanufacturer of starter drives and solenoids will be the third plant toured. And, D & V Electronics, a manufacturer of electrical testing equipment for OEM’s and remanufacturers, will be the fourth and final tour of the day.
On April 25, APRA supplier members are invited to have a table at the annual “Mini Expo,” which will take place throughout the day. The cost for exhibiting is $90 per table on a first come, first served basis.
APRA’s Electrical Division will announce its line-up of industry experts for this year’s presentations after Jan. 1.
