API-Procom Industrial Co. Ltd. Joins MQVP

MQVP Inc. announces that API-Procom Industrial Co. Ltd. (Procom) located in Taiwan has been approved as a manufacturing participant in MQVP , the Manufacturer’s Qualification and Validation Program, according to Diana Berry, MQVP director of conformance-manufacturers.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — MQVP Inc. announces that API-Procom Industrial Co. Ltd. (Procom) located in Taiwan has been approved as a manufacturing participant in MQVP , the Manufacturer’s Qualification and Validation Program, according to Diana Berry, MQVP director of conformance-manufacturers.

Berry said Procom, an ISO/QS 9000 registered company, has launched with 150 various body panels, primarily hoods and headlamp mounting panels using composite materials. These parts cover many make, model and year applications and their participation adds to the rapid growth of MQVP.

Procom’s President Gorden Lin and API’s Vice President, Parkson Jong, proud to announce their participation, recently said, “We are excited about the opportunity that the MQVP program offers us. We are proud to be ranked with the many other high quality conscious participants that provide automotive replacement products through the supply chain of approved distributors.”

The participants in MQVP are required to meet stringent standards and maintain the product through the industries only comprehensive supply chain traceability system, GOCERTS.

MQVP has established to qualify manufacturers and distributors and monitor the quality and material traceability of automotive aftermarket collision repair parts. MQVP offers more than 9,000 different parts used in over 40,000 make, model, and year applications. These parts are distributed by more than 150 warehouses nationally making the parts available to 40,000 collision shops across the country.
