APH Names Kevin Mack Vice President Of Merchandising

Mack succeeds Rich Vierkant, who will retire at the end of the year.

Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc. (APH) recently announced that Kevin Mack has been named vice president of merchandising, effective Aug. 30. He succeeds Rich Vierkant, vice president of merchandising, who will be retiring at the end of the year. Mack will report to APH’s Chief Operating Officer Jesse Westrup.

Mack comes to APH with more than 34 years of aftermarket experience and more than 20 years leading merchandising, pricing and product category teams. He has a degree in automotive technology from SUNY Morrisville.

“Kevin brings a wealth of leadership and product experience to APH,” said Westrup. “His diverse background and decades of aftermarket experience will serve as a tremendous complement to our management team. We are delighted to welcome him to the APH family.”

Over the next four months, Vierkant and Mack will be working together to ensure a smooth leadership transition.

“Rich has been an integral part of the APH team and an outstanding industry leader — I especially appreciate his contributions on our behalf with the Alliance product committee,” said Corey Bartlett, president and CEO of APH. “In his 16-year career with APH, he has done a tremendous job building relationships with our channel partners and developing our product offering, including the launch of our commercial vehicle division. On behalf of everyone at APH, we thank him for his many contributions and wish him all the best in retirement.”
