APC Announces Winners of NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Ticket Drawing

During each of the five A/C seminars that Automotive Cooling Products hosted this year, a pair of tickets to the August 12 NASCAR Nextel Cup race at the Michigan International Speedway were given away. Each winner received a pair of tickets to the race and two nights of lodging.

MINNEAPOLIS — During each of the five A/C seminars that Automotive Cooling Products hosted this year, a pair of tickets to the August 12 NASCAR Nextel Cup race at the Michigan International Speedway were given away. Each winner received a pair of tickets to the race and two nights of lodging.

This year’s winners were: John Cesafsky from Road Runner, Inc., Le Center, Minn.; Phil Johnson from The Garage, Inver Grove Heights, Minn.; Chris Clayton from J.D.’s Repair, Council Bluffs, Iowa; Brian Hale from Firestone Auto Service, Red Oak, Iowa; and Auraray Taylor from Dot Com Auto, Milwaukee, Wis.

The seminars focused on: causes and cures of slow system cool downs; charging and discharging systems properly; diagnosing blower motor and air flow problems; faster Taurus heater core service; future A/C technology; general A/C service tips; new tools and equipment; new car HVAC system features; preventing compressor comebacks; A/C system suction screens and inline filters; the “RecycleGuard/Removinator;” the quick detect A/C sealant detector; recovery/recycling machines and proper maintenance; leak detection devices (electronic and UV); thermistor vacuum gauges; and vacuum pumps and the proper maintenance.
