APA Expands Staff, Recaps Successful Incentive Trip

Gili Waller assumes the newly created position of marketing administrator; Paul Brokaw was named director of special projects.

Automotive Parts Associates announced the expansion of its headquarters staff to include Gili Waller who will assume the newly created position of marketing administrator effective February 1st. “Gili joins APA from outside the automotive aftermarket and APA is excited to bring ‘new blood’ into the industry,” says Steve Tucker, APA president. Gili will report to Jan Larson, director of marketing.

Additionally, Paul Brokaw took on the responsibility of managing APA’s IT and Data Resources department. Paul has transitioned into this role as a part time assignment, and his new title is director of special projects. “Paul has a myriad of experiences in the industry, and he will be collaborating with APA shareholders and suppliers to maximize the capabilities of its data pool to the benefit of all involved. We are lucky to be able to keep him with us,” says Tucker.

APA also announced its recent 2022 SunSplash Customer Incentive trip was a huge success. More than 200 combined shop owners, service technicians, APA shareholders, and suppliers were in attendance.

SunSplash is an incentive program offered through Automotive Parts Associates Shareholders. Shop owners who purchase from APA shareholders earn points towards the cost of the trip.

In addition to 4-nights, 5 days at the all-inclusive Live Aqua Resort in Cancun, APA says attendees enjoyed relaxing in the sun, group excursions to the Ruins, a ferry ride to the island of Isla Mujeres, and a cash give away party the last evening where 20 lucky winners took home $500 each!

“It was just a fantastic experience for all that went. I keep saying that this is a relationship business, and trips like this just serve to reinforce that fact and help to cement the supplier-distributor and customer relationships.  We couldn’t have done this without our supplier partners, and I want to extend a special thank you to all of them that help us every day   Hats off also to our staff and our shareholders for making this event the success that it was and will continue to be, says Steve Tucker.
