AMRA, ETI, NASTF To Hold Combined Spring Conferences

This collaboration leverages each association's membership and brings together OEMs and aftermarket service providers.

The Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association (AMRA), the Equipment and Tool Institute (ETI) and National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) have partnered for their spring conferences. All three associations have previously held their technical sessions separately in the Spring, but to better serve their members and to enhance the value of the seminars, they are working to hold one conference May 4-7 in San Diego. This collaboration leverages each association’s membership and brings the OEMs and the aftermarket service providers, along with tool and equipment manufacturers, part manufacturers, suppliers and other organizations that support the industry, together to discuss topics which affect how vehicles are being serviced, the equipment used, and the technology needed to service today’s complex vehicle. The unique coordination of the conference allows for each association to have specific sessions to focus on their agenda items, in addition to the collaborative session that will feature topics that span across all three association’s interests.

“We are excited to partner with ETI and NASTF; we have very good working relationships with both organizations and together we are elevating our reach and unlocking the potential of our combined efforts. I think everyone who attends will see a more united industry that is focused on vehicle service,” said Jeff Cox, president of the AMRA.

“Never, in the history of the automotive industry, have we seen so many significant technological advances affect our businesses simultaneously. The impact of ADAS, autonomous mobility, electric vehicles, and cyber security, just to name a few, have rocked the aftermarket and OEM worlds alike” stated Brian Plott, executive director of ETI. “In our on‐going efforts to drive solutions to these challenges, we are honored to collaborate with AMRA and NASTF on this year’s event. The combined line‐up of industry experts, cutting edge topics, and a focus aimed at the future of vehicle service and consumer safety, will definitely make for an exciting event.”

“NASTF is looking forward to the opportunity to share our mission with a new audience in AMRA and to continue to engage our partners at ETI. Our general meeting is free for all to attend and we encourage you to attend, learn and participate,” said Donny Seyfer, executive officer; National Automotive Service Task Force.

Over the next couple of months, you will see more communication from the associations regarding the conference; however individuals can sign up for the conference on amra.org or etools.org.
