Alliance Selects MPA as Receiver’s Choice Award Recipient

The award recognizes a channel partner exhibiting expertise in electronic catalog data.

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. announced MPA, Motorcar Parts of America, as the 2023 Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper Receiver’s Choice Award winner.

The award was presented at the Auto Care Association’s Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN) Knowledge Exchange Conference at the Hyatt Regency Orlando on May 21-24, 2023.

MPA received recognition for its outstanding material, content, accuracy, and never-ending improvement. The 2023 award was presented by Lance Brierley, director of technology solutions at Alliance Headquarters. “The responsiveness of the team at MPA has always been impressive. It’s their dedication to going beyond the data that separates them from others.” said Brierley.

“This is a great team accomplishment, and we thank Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper for the recognition, but more importantly for their partnership,” said Craig Meadows, director – traditional sales for Motorcar Parts of America. “We have an amazing team here who work together with the Alliance on accurate data and content. To be recognized by the Alliance for the 2023 Receiver’s Choice Award is an honor and speaks to the success we are having in our partnership.”

The Receiver’s Choice Award recognizes a channel partner which exhibits expertise in electronic catalog data, used for B2B and B2C platforms as well as data reporting, according to Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance. Each year, Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper recognize an individual who delivers high-quality content such as Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standards (ACES), Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES), digital assets, and other customer-specific formats.  Providing accurate data and content supports Auto Value & Bumper to Bumper warehouse distributors efforts in e-commerce and retail selling.

“MPA has always been extremely collaborative, and a great partner.  They enthusiastically have helped the Alliance build a distinct product with The MacPherson Ride hub assembly line,” said Dale E. Hopkins, vice president and chief information officer at the Alliance. “Congratulations to the entire team at MPA.”

To be eligible for the award, MPA was required to meet standards of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency, delivery, communication, and more.

“They consistently provide updates to their data and content and support a collaborative working partnership to improve how their products are represented, marketed, sold and tracked,” said Barbara Henry, information services manager at Alliance Parts Warehouse. “They are always excellent to work with and lead by example with their accuracy.”
