Alcoa Combines Wheel, Auto and Truck Business Units

Aluminum producer Alcoa Inc. said Monday it combined its wheel products and auto and truck units into a new unit called Wheel and Transportation Products. Wheel products unit President Kevin Kramer, 48, will become president of the new segment. Wheel and transportation products will be based in Cleveland, OH, and will consist of transportation products, commercial vehicle wheels and automotive wheels divisions.

PITTSBURGH — Aluminum producer Alcoa Inc. said Monday it combined its wheel products and auto and truck units into a new unit called Wheel and Transportation Products.

Wheel products unit President Kevin Kramer, 48, will become president of the new segment. Wheel and transportation products will be based in Cleveland, OH, and will consist of transportation products, commercial vehicle wheels and automotive wheels divisions.

Scott Kerns, formerly global vice president of marketing for wheel products, has been tapped as vice president and general manager of transportation products division.

Vice President and General Manager Tim Myers will continue to lead the commercial vehicle wheel division, and Michael Parnell will continue to run the auto wheel division.
