FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — Akebono announced yesterday that Eastern Regional Sales Manager Carl Schaefer unexpectedly passed away in January. “We are all very saddened by Carl’s sudden passing and our hearts go out to his wife and family,” said Randy Mordue, director of aftermarket operations, Akebono Corp., North America. “Carl was well known and respected throughout the aftermarket brake business.
