AISIN Group And ADVICS To Partner At AAPEX

"Family" is the theme at this year's AISIN Group exhibit at AAPEX, where AISIN and ADVICS will announce a new sales relationship.

“Family” is the theme at this year’s AISIN Group exhibit at the 2019 Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo (AAPEX), where AISIN and ADVICS will announce a new sales relationship. AISIN is now responsible for customer sales of ADVICS-branded brake products into the North American automotive Aftermarket, while ADVICS remains focused on product development and brand management. AISIN and ADVICS (booth No. 2243) will be on display at AAPEX Nov. 5-7 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.

The 2019 event marks the 24th consecutive year that AISIN Group has exhibited at AAPEX.

The collaborative exhibition features two prominent areas in the exhibit that ask: “What’s driving your car?” – highlighting engine-related products provided by AISIN, and “What’s stopping your car?” — featuring premium brake and safety-related parts provided by ADVICS.

There will be a special appearance by Hattori Racing star Austin Hill, who will be at the booth to meet fans and sign autographs on Nov. 5 from 9:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and again on Nov. 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Also new to the exhibit this year: two instructional videos will debut providing step-by-step procedures for installation of the WPT-190 electric water pump for Prius; and removal and installation of the SAT-018 transfer case shift actuator for Tacoma. (Information about downloading the videos from YouTube is available at the AISIN Group exhibit.)

Import Vehicle Community New Product Showcase entries include:

  • ATF-TFE – Continuously variable transmission fluid for Toyota, Lexus and Scion vehicles from 2014 thru 2019.
  • ATF-SP4 – Automatic transmission fluid specifically formulated to replace SP-4 type fluid in Hyundai and Kia vehicles from 2011 thru 2019.
  • ATF-SCV – Continuously variable transmission fluid formulated for CVTF-II and CVTF-J4 type fluid in Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles from 2010 thru 2017.

And, by popular demand, AISIN Group’s iconic demonstration vehicle, dubbed “i-Mobility,” makes an encore AAPEX appearance after recent showings in Frankfurt and Tokyo. Always a crowd favorite, the vehicle is equipped with dozens of components and systems, including a wide assortment of aftermarket parts from AISIN and ADVICS.
