ATLANTA, Ga. AirSept Inc., manufacturer and marketer of unique filtration and repair products for automotive air conditioning, cooling, transmission, power steering and turbocharger systems, has named Michael Cable as its new vice president of sales.
AirSept is a major supplier of air conditioning odor abatement solutions, filtration devices and line repair products to vehicle and OE system manufacturers around the world. Cable will be responsible for managing and increasing AirSept’s sales to OE and aftermarket accounts. He also will spearhead market penetration for the recently expanded Smart Splice metal and rubber line repair product family.
“AirSept pioneered the A/C odor abatement category over 20 ago and has since expanded into a variety of system and service equipment filtration, metal and rubber line repair, A/C service tools, transmission, cooling system and other repair parts and tools,” said Aaron Becker, president of AirSept. “Mike Cable’s extensive sales experience and broad understanding of automotive technologies will significantly benefit AirSept, our sales network and our customers.”
Before joining AirSept, Cable was vice president of North American Sales for RTI Technologies. Prior to that, he served in various leadership positions for Hickok, Midtronics and other major automotive suppliers. Throughout his career, Cable has maintained business relationships with major vehicle manufacturers, including Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota, Navistar and other OEMs. He also managed the design of custom products and specialty tools for vehicle manufacturers and their OE suppliers.
With the addition of Cable as vice president of sales, Greg McGuinness will assume an expanded role as AirSept’s executive vice president.
