TEQUESTA, Fla. — Bob Hirsch, president of the Aftermarket Foundation, has announced the election of three new members to the Aftermarket Foundation Board.
The new members are: Tony Bartholomew, vice president of professional sales at O’Reilly Auto Parts; Brent Windom, vice president of marketing and product development (NA) at Uni-Select; and Murray Sullivan, director of business development at National Pronto Association.
“On behalf of the entire board, I am very pleased to welcome these three high-caliber executives to the board of the Foundation,” Hirsch said. “We already have a very strong board and the addition of Tony Bartholomew, Murray Sullivan and Brent Windom will further strengthen our board, and broaden its reach within our industry sector; and we thank them for their willingness to serve for the common good of the less fortunate in our industry.
Hirsch pointed out that the motto of the Foundation is, "We take care of our own."
“These new board members have demonstrated tremendous capability and achievement in their respective careers to date, and we know that the Foundation will benefit from their skill and commitment, as we continue ‘taking care of our own’,” Hirsch added.
Since 1959, the Aftermarket Foundation has assisted individuals and families of the automotive aftermarket industry that have fallen on hard times due to an unexpected death, catastrophic injury, serious illness or financial hardship. Board members are called upon to assist in the fundraising efforts of the Foundation and also to assist in the identification of those in need.
Hirsch went on to say: “In proudly making this announcement of the expansion of the Aftermarket Foundation Board, I do not want to miss the opportunity to remind our colleagues and associates out there that we are the charity dedicated solely to helping needy members of the aftermarket industry and its families. One never knows when financial ruin, terrible illness or accident will happen to us, or to other people we know and care for. If you or someone you know in our industry needs our help, please contact us and let us know. And if you haven’t done your part yet, we happily accept donations at any time of year.”
