‘Aftermarket Briefings’ At HDAW 2018 Adds Best-Selling Author To Speaker Lineup

Thomas Nestor, best-selling author, professional speaker and founder of Leadership Today, has been added to the speaker lineup. Nestor's purpose is to teach people how to lead in a world that seems to crave leadership.

Thomas Nestor, best-selling author, professional speaker and founder of Leadership Today has been added to the speaker lineup during the Aftermarket Briefings education session on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, during Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) at the Mirage in Las Vegas.

Focusing on the “partner” element of HDAW 2018’s theme “People, Partners and Profits,” Nestor will show the importance of building strategic partnerships within the heavy-duty aftermarket industry, allowing companies to see the hidden value of working together to provide targeted products and services to customers to improve their businesses. Nestor also will share best practices in building strategic partnerships and the six human needs that must be met for success.

In addition to being a best-selling author, Nestor is a professional speaker, and founder of Leadership Today, a company specializing in creating learning and development for leaders and organizations. Nestor’s purpose is to teach people how to lead in a world that seems to crave leadership.

Nestor worked alongside Tony Robbins and Robbins Research International for two years delivering keynotes to more than 300 organizations, including brands like Google, Disney and the NFL. Nestor also has authored three books including “How Leaders Make Decisions.”

In his presentations, Nestor doesn’t tell people what to do, but guides them in the direction of where they need to go. His favorite leadership quote is “You cannot talk yourself out of something you behaved yourself into.”

“Aftermarket Briefings” will bring targeted and experienced speakers from three companies to discuss the three “P’s”, HDAW 18’s People, Partners, Profits. Each speaker will have 15 minutes to discuss how their “P” influences the markets they provide services to and how it relates to the independent aftermarket distributors’ businesses. Attendees will be able to ask the presenters questions via text messaging toward the end of the morning session. Other presenters during the segment include Colin Gold, founder of Gold Level Hospitality, and Jim Pancero, author of “You Can Always Sell More: How to Improve Your Sales Force.”

The 13th annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week will be held on Jan. 22-25, 2018, at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
