SAN ANTONIO, TX — The shareholders of Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. have unanimously agreed to make a financial contribution to the relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
“This is truly a horrific tragedy that has affected everyone around the world,” said Richard H. Morgan, president and CEO. “We felt it was our obligation to step up and do what we could, and at this point financial support seemed the best way to help,” Morgan added.
Each of the 56 shareholders contributed to the group’s $40,000 donation to the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina relief fund in hopes that it will make a difference in the lives of the victims who are trying to recover and rebuild.
“This donation to the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina fund is indicative of the kind of people that make up the Alliance group,” Morgan stated. Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper is part of Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, and has more than 4,400 parts stores and 2,200 certified service centers throughout North America.
