Advance Auto Parts Promotes Zaheed Mawani To Vice President, Finance Planning, Analysis And Investor Relations

He will be responsible for leading the planning and performance management team, which is responsible for enterprise planning, forecasting and management reporting.

ROANOKE, Va. – Advance Auto Parts has promoted Zaheed Mawani to vice president, finance planning, analysis and investor relations. He will be responsible for leading the planning and performance management team, which is responsible for enterprise planning, forecasting and management reporting. He will also continue to lead the investor relations function. Mawani will report to Mike Norona, executive vice president and CFO, and will be based in Raleigh, N.C.
 
“We are excited to promote Zaheed into his new role,” said Norona. “He has a diverse set of experience and financial acumen learned through his past experiences in a rapidly growing multi-brand and multi-channel international company. He also has a proven track record for driving results, leading teams and building strong relationships.”
 
Mawani joined Advance in July 2013 and most recently served as director, investor relations. He brings more than 18 years of finance experience to his new role, including more than 15 years of accounting leadership roles he held with Future Shop/Best Buy in Canada, the United Kingdom and the U.S. prior to joining Advance.
