Advance Auto Parts Elects Paul Raines to Its Board of Directors

Raines has served in his current role at GameStop Corp. since September 2008. Previously, he served as the executive vice president - U.S. Stores for Home Depot, Inc.

ROANOKE, Va. — Advance Auto Parts has elected Paul Raines, chief operating officer of GameStop Corp., to Advance’s board of directors. Raines has also been appointed to serve on the board’s finance committee.

“We are delighted to welcome Paul to our board of directors,” said Jack Brouillard, chair of the board for Advance Auto Parts. “Paul has extensive retail operations and global sourcing experience. His experience and leadership align well with Advance’s strategic direction and goal to be the customer experience leader and to develop customers for life. We look forward to his contributions to our board and to Advance Auto Parts.”

Raines has served in his current role at GameStop Corp. since September 2008. Previously, he served as the executive vice president — U.S. Stores for Home Depot, Inc., from April 2007 to August 2008. Prior to that time, he served in various management roles with Home Depot, including, president — Southern Division from February 2005 to April 2007; vice president — Florida from April 2003 through January 2005; vice president – Store Operations from January 2002 through April 2003; and as director of labor management from January 2000 through January 2002.
