Adient Reports Improved Q1 2023 Financial Results

Company also reaffirms full-year 2023 outlook.

Adient, a global provider of automotive seating, has announced its first quarter 2023 financial results.

The company reported first quarter GAAP net income and EPS diluted of $12 million and $0.13, respectively. First quarter Adjust EPS diluted of $0.34, and first quarter Adjusted EBITDA of $212million, up $66 million year-over-year.

Adient also reported strong quarter-end cash and total liquidity of $901 million and $1.9 billion, respectively, at Dec. 31, 2022.

Fiscal 2022 revenue increased 39 percent, powered by 14 percent same-store sales growth and 9 percent net store growth.
