AAPEX 2021 Officially Begins

There is something for everyone at this year's premiere industry event.

AAPEX 2021 kicked off today at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas and continues through Thursday, Nov. 4.

What’s On The Agenda
AAPEX has announced the lineup of Let’s Tech presentations and industry panel discussions that will be packed with essential information to keep service professionals ahead of the curve and ready for the future. These presentations are included in AAPEX registration and will take place on the AAPEX Stage during this year’s event, Nov. 2-4, at the Sands Expo and Caesars Forum Conference Center in Las Vegas. Let’s Tech will offer quick learning with 20-minute TED-talk style presentations on “Preparing for Electrification,” “Electric Vehicle Regenerative Braking,” “Digital Inspections” and “Tesla Can Now Be Serviced in the Aftermarket: Meet the Tesla Scan Tool and Information Suite.”

Panel discussions will include “Women Techs Rock: Filling the Workforce Gap and Readying for the Revolution” and “Data Sources and Application Amidst an Evolving Economy and Industry.” Two “Shop Coach AMA (Ask Me Anything)” panel discussions will be held on today and Nov. 4 to offer insights from today’s best shop coaches.

A special “Presidents’ Update: New EV and Ecommerce Forecasts and Briefing” will be presented by the Auto Care Association and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association.

Several award ceremonies also will be held on the AAPEX Stage, including the 2021 New Product & Packaging Showcases Awards2021 Best Booth AwardsAASA Member Awards & Recognition and the Women In Auto Care Awards Ceremony.

The AAPEX Stage will be located in the Sands Expo, Level 2, Upper Lobby.

Visit Joe’s Garage
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and the ASE Education Foundation will be on-site at Joe’s Garage during the 2021 Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo (AAPEX) Nov. 2-4 in Las Vegas.

Senior executives from ASE and the ASE Education Foundation will be in attendance to provide information to show attendees about the importance of automotive service technology program accreditation and the wide variety of ASE certification tests available. Information also will be available about the time-saving ASE Renewal App, which allows those with active automobile certifications (A1-A9) to use the app for recertification so they can extend the expiration date of their certifications without having to take time off to go to a test center.

Located on Level 1 of the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Joe’s Garage will be situated in the center of the AAPEX Repair Shop HQ. Sponsored by Shop Owner magazine, Joe’s Garage provides show attendees a close-up look at new products, and features a real-world shop setup with eight service bays, providing a platform for exhibiting brands to demonstrate their equipment.
