AAPEX 2021 Announces Training Schedule For New Repair Shop HQ

AAPEX 2021 will take place Nov. 2-4, at the Sands Expo and Caesars Forum Conference Center in Las Vegas.

AAPEX 2021 has announced the lineup of technical and business management training to be offered in the new Repair Shop HQ. The schedule features a wide range of topics and focuses on education for shop owners, service advisors and technicians. AAPEX 2021 will take place Tuesday, Nov. 2 through Thursday, Nov. 4, at the Sands Expo and Caesars Forum Conference Center in Las Vegas.

AAPEX formed a selection panel, comprised of 20 shop owners, to judge the more than 120 submissions and identify training that will best equip service professionals with top-notch skills to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. All classes are intermediate or advanced-level and will be led by the industry’s most renowned trainers and speakers. For the full speaker lineup, visit Repair Shop HQ speakers

Technical training sessions will cover a range of topics, including advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and calibrations, scan data analysis for diagnosing driveability issues, fuel trim diagnostics, and servicing hybrids and battery electric vehicles.

Business management training sessions will include filling the technician void, a P&L boot camp, superior service advising, succession planning, advanced financial strategies and navigating the business realities of the new aftermarket.

All sessions will take place in the four new training theatres in Repair Shop HQ and are accredited toward the Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) and Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) designations.

Registration for AAPEX opens in early May and at that time, attendees will be able to select training sessions for $25 each. To preview sessions, visit the Training Schedule on the AAPEX website, aapexshow.com.

To help ensure as safe and productive an event as possible, AAPEX Event Management and AAPEX co-owners – the Auto Care Association and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) – will take all appropriate and advisable precautions and measures as advised by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Guidelines for COVID-19. All attendees and exhibitors will be informed accordingly of any new or updated procedures, plans and details as they are determined, put in place or evolved moving toward the event in November.

AAPEX represents the more than $2 trillion global automotive aftermarket industry and features innovative products, services and technologies, as well as advanced business management and technical training for professionals to maintain excellence and take their businesses to the next level.
