AAIA Unveils New Online Industry Events Calendar

Adding to its list of helpful resources for members, the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association's (AAIA) web site now features a searchable online industry events calendar.

BETHESDA, MD — Adding to its list of helpful resources for members, the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association’s (AAIA) web site now features a searchable online industry events calendar.

The calendar, www.aftermarket.org/events/industry_calendar features comprehensive list of automotive industry trade shows, conferences, meetings, symposiums and other events through 2007. Domestic and international events hosted by companies, program groups, national, regional and state associations and numerous motor vehicle related organizations are included.

According to Kathleen Schmatz, AAIA president and CEO, the online industry events calendar was developed in response to the industry-wide need for a central source of data for long-range planning and to avoid meeting conflicts. “Data will be updated daily and we encourage companies and organizations to submit their meetings and events information for inclusion,” said Schmatz.

The events calendar is searchable by date or company/organization name. Users can also scroll day by day. While events are removed from the Web page automatically the day after each event, they are archived and can be searched.

Event information can be e-mailed to [email protected].
