AAIA Town Hall 2008 VIP Panel to Analyze How Rising Energy Costs are Fueling Changes in the Aftermarket

A panel of industry experts will analyze the current and future impact of rising fuel costs on the aftermarket industry at this year's AAIA Town Hall breakfast program in Las Vegas. Hosted by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) and sponsored by NASCAR Performance, the Town Hall will be held at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5 in the Palazzo Ballroom in the Venetian Hotel. Kathleen Schmatz, AAIA president and CEO, will once again moderate the Town Hall panel which will include Tom Kloza, chief oil analyst, Oil Price Information Service, Frank Ordonez, president of Aftermarket Operations, Delphi Corp., David Portalatin, director of Industry Analysis, The NPD Group and Tony Zanders, president, Heritage Auto Repair and Chair, Car Care Professionals Network (CCPN).

Hosted by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) and sponsored by NASCAR Performance, the Town Hall will be held at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5 in the Palazzo Ballroom in the Venetian Hotel.

"No issue in recent memory has had such a profound impact on every segment of our industry as increased fuel costs," said Schmatz. "Our distinguished panel will drill down into this issue from every angle: the motorist, service and repair, manufacturing, distribution and offer future scenarios and solutions for attendees to take away."
