BETHESDA, MD — With the 2004 election fast approaching, AAIA, in conjunction with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, has launched a new Web site where aftermarket industry professionals can obtain information and tools needed to educate voters in this year’s federal elections.

This new resource is designed to provide up-to-date information on state and federal candidates and where they stand on issues that affect aftermarket businesses. Specifically, the industry will now have the opportunity to get more involved in the political process by having access to a “one-stop shop” where users can quickly register to vote and even request absentee ballots.

Also, those attending AAPEX this year should take advantage of absentee ballots, since the presidential election will take place during the trade show.

Take advantage of this new voting tool by visiting AAIA’s Legislative Action Center at: http://www.aftermarket.org/Home.asp.
