3M Ceramic Coating - High Gloss Protective Finish

3M Launches New, High Gloss Protective Finish

The proprietary formulation can be applied on automotive paint, 3M Wrap Film and more.

3M has announced the launch of 3M Ceramic Coating, the company’s new long-lasting protective finish for automotive paint, metal, plastic trim, wheels and glass. The durable new product offers the benefits consumers expect and is designed to enable shops to enter this growing segment of the personal auto market.

The coating delivers a high-gloss, extremely slick surface that looks great and helps shed water quickly while carrying away light dust.

“Our Ceramic Coating locks in that ‘wet look’ of a fresh polish and wax,” said Scott Smith, product marketer. “So, the new 3M™ Ceramic Coating helps makes it simple to keep your vehicle looking great.”

3M Ceramic Coating is also resistant to road salts, harsh chemicals, and acid rain. “Surface contaminants like tree sap, bug spots and bird droppings clean away much easier,” Smith added.

The professionally applied coating lasts up to five years with proper annual care and maintenance. The fast-curing formula is easy to apply and has no strong odors or vapors.

3M Ceramic Coating delivers gloss, shine, water beading and most importantly, durability.
