2015 Aftermarket Jackpot Closes With Giveaway Of Classic American Muscle Car

Wade Lanier of Allstar Auto Service Lake Park, Florida, won a 1969 Mustang Fastback modified with a high-performance engine, transmission and suspension.

Alliance - GiveawayThe Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance triennial convention, dubbed the Aftermarket Jackpot, wrapped up with a bang in Las Vegas this past Saturday. In the closing of the event, Wade Lanier of Allstar Auto Service Lake Park, Florida, a customer of Alliance member Bennett Auto Supply, won a vintage American muscle car.

“I’m blown away,” said Lanier, “I never win anything.”  The vehicle he won was a 1969 Mustang Fastback, modified by the editors of Hot Rod magazine with a high-performance engine, transmission and suspension, and had been featured in a 2009 article in the magazine.  “When I was looking at it earlier in the week, I was noticing some of the small flaws in the restoration process,” said Lanier.  “It’s funny, now that it’s mine, I think it looks perfect.”

“Giving away this beautiful Mustang marked the start of our fall promotion — Muscle Car Madness,” said Alliance President and CEO John Washbish. “In addition to this awesome Ford, we are giving away two other vintage muscle cars: a modified ‘71 Chevelle Malibu and a gorgeous ‘71 Challenger.”

The Aftermarket Jackpot event drew more than 3,800 Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper stores and shops to attend the AAPEX and SEMA shows along with three days of education and networking. In addition to the muscle car, dozens of attendees took home more than $25,000 in cash.
