1-800-Radiator Offering Free Replacement Radiator or A/C Part to Supplement Cash for Clunkers Program

The offer will qualify once the new car warranty period expires, so that the new owner will have ongoing warranty coverage for the life of his car.

BENICIA, Calif. — 1-800-Radiator has announced full unconditional warranty support for the Cash for Clunkers program. 1-800-Radiator will guarantee a free replacement radiator or air conditioning part for any new car bought under the Cash for Clunkers program. The offer will qualify once the new car warranty period expires, so that the new owner will have ongoing warranty coverage for the life of his or her car. The 1-800-Radiator warranty will extend to radiators, A/C condensers, fan assemblies, compressors, as well as the full range of air conditioning parts.

In order to take advantage of the warranty, the new car owner must agree to have his car repaired at a repair shop recommended by 1-800-Radiator. 1-800-Radiator does business with only the most highly qualified shops in the U.S. and Canada, and will direct the new owner to the nearest shop to him — usually in the exact same zip code. The new owner will receive his brand new replacement part absolutely free, and will pay the shop owner the shop’s customary installation rates. In addition, 1-800-Radiator will pay the shop the difference between standard list markup and their cost for the part through 1-800-Radiator, since they are not supplying the part to the customer.

To qualify and for complete details, the new car owner must register with 1-800-Radiator within 60 days of the new car purchase by emailing the company at [email protected]
