ZF Aftermarket Introduces New Steering Damper Range For TRW And SACHS Brands

These products are designed to remove uncontrolled steering or undesired side-to-side movement in the steering of the vehicle and ensure a like-new handling and driving experience.

ZF Aftermarket has announced the launch of a new steering damper range to the TRW- and SACHS-branded product lines. The company says this new product line combines steering technology with the high-performance and high-quality behind all TRW and SACHS ride control products.

The steering damper program for both TRW and SACHS offers applications for recent and late-model vehicles. These products are designed to remove uncontrolled steering or undesired side-to-side movement in the steering of the vehicle and to ensure a like-new handling and driving experience.

“We are pleased to bring steering dampers to the TRW and SACHS offering, meeting market demand and customer requests. With each new range extension and new product launch, ZF Aftermarket is improving our coverage and continues to bring quality components to our customers,” said Justin Hynes, ZF Aftermarket senior product manager ­– Ride Control.

With a total of 14 new part numbers, the application range for both the TRW and SACHS steering damper covers more than 22.6 million vehicles in operation, including the Dodge Ram 1500 (2000-’07), Ford Explorer (1995-2001), Jeep Grand Cherokee (1993-’98) and others.
