XPEL, a provider of advanced paint protection film for automobiles, has received an award for its outstanding success as a small or medium enterprise (SME) exporter in the United States. Presented by non-profit business education group NASBITE International and economic development organization Greater Spokane Inc., XPEL was given the award Wednesday, March 29, at the World Trade Day and National Small Business Exporter Summit held at the Spokane Convention Center in Spokane, Washington.
XPEL was among a group of 30 exporters from across the nation that received awards for demonstrated excellence in export sales during the second annual event for executives, consultants and export managers. On hand to accept the award for the Texas-based manufacturer and distributor of self-adhesive urethane film was Luke Rood, XPEL international account manager.
“XPEL is truly honored to receive this award that recognizes our excellence in export business practices,” said Rood. “The award is confirmation that we not only provide the industry’s leading automotive protection film but also conduct business in a way that puts us among the leading small-to-medium-sized exporters in the nation.”
In addition to the awards program, the World Trade Day and National Small Business Exporter’s Summit brought together some of the top small business exporters in the United States. The annual event provides an opportunity to exchange and share exporting best practices and lessons learned for small businesses seeking export growth. Participating speakers represented companies in 18 states and Puerto Rico, and included SBA Exporters of the Year and Presidential “E” Award winners. Many of the attending exporters participated in master-class sessions, where tools and techniques were shared to help organizations improve their export success.
“We continue to see consistent growth and opportunities internationally,” said Rood. “This is in large part due to our incredible group of international partners who have helped the XPEL brand become the top choice for consumers wanting to protect their beloved cars.”
