GASTONIA, NC — WIX Filters won two Parts Depot Vendor Partner Awards, earning top honors as the 2005 Vendor of the Year and for 2005 Best Field Representation at an awards banquet held Nov. 10 held in conjunction with the Parts Depot 10th Annual Training Conference in Roanoke, VA.
“We accept these two prestigious awards on behalf of everyone from WIX Filters and Affinia,” said Bill Sheehan, vice president of sales, WIX Filters. “It’s always gratifying to win one award at a customer’s awards banquet, so winning two in one evening is a very rewarding achievement. At WIX, customer sales and service is a fundamental component of our success, and we are honored to be recognized by our partners at Parts Depot.”
Joining Sheehan onstage in front of the more than 500 conference attendees were WIX Filters Brand Manager Bruce Johnston and seven of the 12 WIX Filters salespeople who service the Parts Depot account, including Mike Mahoney, regional manager; Joel Osborne, regional manager; Mario Figueredo, district manager; Donn Berney, district manager; Donna Curtis, district manager; Dave York, district manager; and Susan Thompson, technical services manager.
“For our company, WIX exemplifies achieving excellence in several key areas of measuring our business partners’ performance,” said Parts Depot Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising Alan Bostwick, who presented the award along with Parts Depot President and COO Willi Alexander and Parts Depot CEO Rollie Olson. “In 2005, they were our best field representatives, one of our top service level providers, and contributed again this year with significant sales growth. The combination of those outstanding accomplishments is why they were voted as our vendor of the year.”
The Parts Depot Vendor Partner Awards honor excellence in sales support, marketing and customer service. Parts Depot — a member of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance — is WIX Filters’ third-largest customer and sells WIX Filters from Ohio to Florida.
