WIX Filters Launches 2016 FFA Box Top Redemption Program

To date, WIX has raised nearly $750,000 for the National FFA Organization. Last year, WIX donated $44,341.25 to FFA chapters across the country.

WIX Filters has launched its 2016 FFA Box Top Redemption Program. Through April 30, students in participating FFA chapters across the United States can redeem WIX Filters box tops for a donation from WIX. To date, WIX has raised nearly $750,000 for the National FFA Organization.

WIX - Proud to Support“It’s quite an honor for WIX to celebrate 30 years of supporting the National FFA Organization,” said Jennifer Gibson, brand manager for WIX Filters. “As a long-time member of this remarkable organization, I know firsthand what a great opportunity this is for local chapters to not only raise money, but build momentum for their ongoing projects and initiatives.”

Each box top amounts to 25 cents, and the four chapters that submit the most box tops will receive a $1,000 bonus. WIX also will send a $1,000 check to the chapter that shows the highest percentage increase over last year’s fundraiser, and bonuses are in addition to the money each chapter earns for each box top.

To help support their local FFA chapters and generate more box tops for donation, participating auto parts stores will display posters and promote the purchase of WIX filters.

Last year, WIX donated $44,341.25 to FFA chapters across the country. The five chapters that earned a $1,000 bonus were:

  • Bridgeport FFA, Bridgeport, Washington
  • Westhope-Newburg FFA, Westhope, North Dakota
  • Cheylin FFA, Bird City, Kansas
  • Alliance FFA, Alliance, Nebraska
  • Appleton FFA, Appleton, Missouri
