IRWINDALE, Calif. Westin Automotive Products Inc., a manufacturer of quality truck, SUV and automotive products located in Irwindale, Calif., has announced several new hires and promotions.
Westin has named Bob West as its executive vice president. West was most recently senior vice president of sales and marketing and global sourcing and has been with Westin for more than 15 years. He will continue with his current responsibilities as well as a new role in new business development.
Alicia Castillo was promoted to marketing manager earlier this year and will be responsible for all marketing development and advertising. Castillo has been with Westin for more than 13 years working her way up in the marketing department, having served as graphic production artist, marketing specialist and marketing supervisor. She earned the title of SEMA Idol for her singing performance at the SEMA banquet in 2006.
Westin also filled two new sales positions on the West Coast. Miguel Alcantar will take on the role of Southwestern regional sales manager covering California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado. Alcantar has been involved in the automotive aftermarket for more than 10 years working at a competitive company in their public safety product sales department.
In addition, Isaac Ronquillo will assume the role of Northwestern regional sales manager covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri. Ronquillo is a seasoned veteran in the truck accessory aftermarket having worked with Alamo Industries, Skyjacker Suspensions, Big Country and Bully Dog.
According to the company, additional sales and marketing changes and additions are in process at Westin and will be announced at the SEMA Show.
