Wells VE Distribution Complex In Iowa Damaged In Storm

Officials from WVE are currently on the ground in Centerville, Iowa, working closely with local authorities to assess the damage, which is isolated to one corner of the building.

Wells Vehicle Electronics’ (WVE) issued a statement yesterday announcing that its 200,000-square-foot distribution complex in Centerville, Iowa, sustained damage from a severe weather event on Monday evening. All employees working at the time were able to take shelter and no injuries have been reported, according to the company.

Officials from WVE are currently on the ground in Centerville, Iowa, working closely with local authorities to assess the damage, which is isolated to one corner of the building. Repairs are already underway, however, the distribution center is officially shut down until the building is structurally cleared to reopen. WVE says it anticipates that the building will reopen in the coming days.

WVE is currently implementing contingency plans to ensure the shut down is as minimal as possible, however, customers should anticipate short-term delays in product shipments. The company is proactively reaching out to customers to provide ongoing status updates. Customers can call 800-558-9770 to address any questions or concerns they may have.
