WABCO Reman Solutions Named ‘Heavy Duty Remanufacturer Of The Year’

The award, which was announced at the APRA Annual Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group Summit in Las Vegas, recognizes the remanufacturer that has demonstrated the highest level of leadership and vision in the industry.

BRUSSELS, Belgium and ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. — WABCO Holdings Inc., a global technology leader and Tier One supplier to the commercial vehicle industry, announced that its Reman Solutions business has been named “Heavy Duty Remanufacturer of the Year” by the Heavy Duty Remanufacturers Group (HDRG), a segment of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA). WABCO Reman Solutions was named the “Heavy Duty Remanufacturer of the Year” Award winner by the Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group (HDRG). The award, which was announced at the APRA Annual Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group Summit in Las Vegas, recognizes the remanufacturer that has demonstrated the highest level of leadership and vision in the industry. WABCO Reman Solutions was selected “Heavy Duty Remanufacturer of the Year” for its:

* Diverse product portfolio of heavy-duty remanufactured parts
* Global capabilities, with facilities in Rochester Hills, Mich., U.S.A.; Stanowice, Poland; Jinan, China; and a joint venture operation in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
 
In accepting the award, Salvador Muñoz-Zarate, WABCO Reman Solutions business leader, said, “We are honored to receive this top industry distinction, particularly as it recognizes our global capability as a differentiator. As a market leader, WABCO Reman Solutions has earned several key industry certifications, including International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications – ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001:2004 – for successfully developing standardized quality and environmental management systems at its remanufacturing facilities. It also has received the Occupational Health and Safety Management System BS OHSAS 18001:2007 certification that promotes safety in the workplace.
