VIPAR Heavy Duty Reports Strong Sense Of Giving From Its Family Of Companies

Earlier this year, a relief fund was established by the organization to help VIPAR Heavy Duty distributors and other aftermarket warehouse distributors severely impacted by the recent natural disasters.

During the holiday season the VIPAR Heavy Duty family of companies is expressing gratitude to the heavy-duty aftermarket community for its generous support of industry causes throughout 2017.

“We appreciate the generosity of our distributors, supplier partners and industry associates [who provided] more than $45,000 in support and charitable giving during this past year,” said Chris Baer, president and CEO, VIPAR Heavy Duty. “It is a privilege to be a part of an industry that takes time to give back to those who are in need.”

Earlier this year, a relief fund was established by the organization to help VIPAR Heavy Duty distributors and other aftermarket warehouse distributors severely impacted by the recent natural disasters. VIPAR Heavy Duty consolidated all funds raised and distributed them to those who were affected.

For the third year in a row, the Tony Pape Memorial Golf Tournament was held during the VIPAR Heavy Duty Annual Business Conference. The tournament honors the memory of Pape, a well-respected industry colleague. Funds raised this year were used to benefit the college fund of the Pape family children.

In addition to those efforts, VIPAR Heavy Duty annually contributes to industry charitable foundations and supports its local community with food and monetary contributions to an area food bank.
