Vast-Auto Distribution, an automotive parts distributor in Eastern Canada, announced the opening of its seventh distribution center in Ottawa, Ontario. The official opening date is scheduled for early December.
Vast-Auto’s strategic decision to establish this new facility in Canada’s Capital reinforces its focus on service as a key differentiator from its competition and supports its inventory proximity strategy with its parts store partners. “We are very excited about servicing parts stores in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec from this new facility and making sure they have access to the parts they need when they need them,” said John Del Vasto, president of Vast-Auto Distribution.

This new facility’s wide inventory assortment of automotive parts of both national and private label brands will reduce lead times and provide parts stores located in the region with the ability to better service their customers.
